The Cosmic Shop

Where the waters of Nun meet the hunting roads, Oogie and Bramble run a little shop. There are strange ingredients on the shelves, biscuits beside the kettle, and a place at the counter for anyone who needs it. Their customers have ruled kingdoms, questioned the world, written poetry, and changed history. Now they carry questions that followed them beyond their lives. The Cosmic Shop is a cozy solo roleplaying game about running that shop, building relationships with its visitors, and helping them decide what they are ready to carry forward. You play both Oogie, a three-eyed black cat, and Bramble, a three-eyed jackalope. Gather curious ingredients, prepare an offering, manage the occasional mishap, and spend your earnings on small improvements. Between these everyday tasks, get to know the people who keep returning. Choose three visitors for each chapter and follow their stories across nine visits. Share a memory with Socrates. Help Hatshepsut build something useful. Sit with Epicurus over a simple meal. Each relationship explores a different question about acceptance, change, responsibility, or letting go. When a visitor is ready, help them find their next crossing. Inside the game: A 24-page illustrated PDF with complete solo rules. Nine historical visitors, each with three connected scenes. Simple ingredient, recipe, and shop-improvement mechanics. Different abilities for Oogie and Bramble. A worked example and printable shop and journal sheets. You need: one six-sided die, a pencil, and paper. Write a few words or linger over a conversation. No prior philosophical knowledge is needed. A standalone spinoff from The Cosmic Caster and The Cosmic Hunt, featuring imagined encounters inspired by historical people and ideas. The kettle is warm. Someone is at the door.
